GroundsCare Schedule & Lawn Health Update

Due to this week’s extended heat wave and dry soil conditions, we made some temporary schedule adjustments for mowing. When lawns are under stress from high temperatures and lack of moisture, mowing can do more harm than good — damaging turf and hindering long-term health.

Many lawns were serviced as planned, while others were intentionally delayed to protect the integrity of the grass. These properties are scheduled to be completed by Tuesday of next week as conditions permit.

Our team makes these decisions carefully, with your property’s long-term health in mind. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we adapt to ensure the best results for your lawn.

How Our Schedule Works

Our crews operate on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (Monday–Thursday). This helps us:

• Maximize daylight and efficiency
• Reschedule quickly when conditions change
• Support crew well-being during high heat

Why We Avoid Mowing in 90°+ Heat

Extreme heat can severely damage turf — especially when it’s already dry. Mowing in these conditions can “scalp” grass, leave burn marks, and weaken root systems. We sometimes pause mowing for lawn health, not convenience.
